Red River Church

My job at Red River Church is to lead musical worship and help others develop the musical gifting that God has given them.

My degree in Social Work (UT Austin) and 5 years experience in formal and informal counseling with students of all ages at Red River Church, Burnet Middle School, foster children with The Bair Foundation, and college students in Hope Student Life helps me in relating and teaching worship skills.

I have also had opportunities to develop skills to offer:

• Improvement & theory in acoustic and bass guitar
• Vocal coaching and beginning trapset drumming (rock drumming)
• multi-track studio recording in live and studio overdubbing settings
• Performing live music in Austin in original projects (Atomic Alive, The Lindsay Wells Band, The Charla Corn Band, Three Year Charm), cover projects (The Band in Black, Acoustic Avenue, wedding/dance)
• formally lead worship bands for over 8 years, including a staff worship leader position at Red River Church since July 2006
• monthly youth workshop teachings youth ages 12+ guitar, bass guitar, trapset drumming, piano and vocal harmony techniques for use in a live band setting
