Community is a key value that we have at Red River.  In fact, a community of love that reflects Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is essential to who we are and to whom we aspire to be as disciples.  Community is something that happens as we all together look to Jesus, believe upon Jesus, and rely upon Jesus as our head and source of life and direction.  We then can connect with each other in deep, loving, reciprocal relationships.

This picture is reflected in Ephesians 4:15-16:
 

 "Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love."
 

Jesus spent most of His time in ministry with the twelve apostles.  Though he ministered to the masses, his chief focus was upon this little community of spiritual followers and friends.  We embrace the same values in our small groups at Red River and urge everyone to be part of a small group community.
